[iOS 12] Download videos directly from Youtube and Facebook on iPhone with Siri Shortcuts

And this article, we will continue to refer to another way to take advantage of other functions that Siri Shortcuts on iOS 12 bring, that is to download videos directly from Youtube and Facebook, which you had to use software or third party support application to perform. As follows.

Step 1: Make sure your iPhone is in iOS 12 version. When you are done, find and download Siri Shortcuts on the App Store.

Step 2: Start the Safari browser and access the “bit.ly/MediaDownloader” address.

The iCloud website that shares the Media Downloader shortcut will appear, click the “Receive Shortcut” option.

And click on “Open” in the window that appears.

Siri Shortcuts interface will appear with Media Downloader option available in it.

You can proceed to refer to the Media Downloader’s configs by emphasizing it so that 3D Touch launches access to.

Step 3: To start using, open Youtube and find the video you want to download, click on the “Share” button.

The options dialog box appears, click “Add” in the Share link section.

Go to the “Shortcut” option and turn ON to activate it, then press “Done” to save.

Step 4: Go back to the sharing options interface, you will see the Shortcuts option appear, click on it.

Click on the “Media Downloader” option.

A shortcut notification window appears, click “Run shortcut”.

Step 5: The video download selection window appears, click “Youtube” if you download videos from Youtube, other similar options if you download videos from Facebook, Instagram, …

When finished, Media Downloader will ask you to allow video to be saved to the system library, press “OK” to confirm the permission.
